Ferrari’s 2026–2027 Outlook: New Models and Maranello’s Manufacturing Evolution

October 11, 2026

Vehicle Direct News | October 11, 2026

Ferrari’s next chapter is taking shape across electric sports cars, hybrid performance models and its enduring combustion-engine range. For enthusiasts following the brand into 2027, the story extends beyond new badges: Maranello is also changing how it builds and personalizes its cars.

Ferrari’s July 30, 2026 business update confirms the full presentation of the electric Ferrari Luce and the addition of the 12Cilindri Manuale special series. It also reports an order book covering all of 2027—an indication of demand, rather than a release calendar for individual models. Read Ferrari’s second-quarter update.

The Ferrari models shaping 2026

Ferrari’s February 2026 investor presentation identifies the Amalfi, 296 Speciale, 296 Speciale A, 849 Testarossa, 849 Testarossa Spider, F80 and Ferrari Luce among the models entering or progressing through phase-in and ramp-up during 2026. This is a manufacturing and delivery roadmap; it should not be read as a list of cars all unveiled for the first time this year. See Ferrari’s model changeover presentation, page 7.

By its second-quarter update, Ferrari reported that the Amalfi and 849 Testarossa were continuing their ramp-up. Deliveries of the 296 Speciale family were increasing, while F80 shipments were advancing according to plan. Ferrari also described the newly revealed 12Cilindri Manuale as a special series that was already fully allocated. Source: Ferrari’s July 2026 results.

Luce adds an electric chapter

The Luce brings a fully electric model into Ferrari’s offering. Ferrari’s October 2025 strategic plan originally scheduled first electric-car deliveries for late 2026; its July 2026 update subsequently confirmed the car’s full presentation. A reveal and the start of customer deliveries are separate milestones, so the earlier delivery target should be understood as Ferrari’s announced plan. Read the original delivery announcement. Inside Maranello’s manufacturing evolution

The foundation for this broader range includes Ferrari’s e-building, inaugurated in June 2024. Ferrari designed the facility to accommodate combustion-engine, hybrid and electric cars, giving its Maranello operations greater flexibility as the model mix changes.

The building also supports production of strategic electrical components, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors and axles. That investment connects Ferrari’s electric ambitions to its own manufacturing expertise, while supporting multiple types of powertrain. Read Ferrari’s factory announcement.

What is confirmed for 2027?

Ferrari’s strategic plan schedules a new paint shop and new Tailor Made centres in Tokyo and Los Angeles for 2027. These investments support the personalization side of the business alongside the product programme. The company also plans an average of four new car launches annually between 2026 and 2030; that average does not establish the names or unveiling dates of four specific 2027 cars. What this means for Canadian enthusiasts

For a Canadian buyer, the useful distinction is between a global announcement, a production ramp-up and a local allocation. The sources cited here do not establish Canadian pricing or delivery dates for each model. Those details require model-specific confirmation.

As 2027 approaches, the developments to watch are the Luce’s delivery rollout, the progress of Ferrari’s newer hybrid and combustion models, and further official announcements. Together, they offer a clearer picture of where Ferrari is heading than an unconfirmed model-year release list.
